Welcome to PHYS 103 at Gonzaga University

 
 




This is the first semester of calculus-based physics.  Topics covered include kinematics, vectors, dymanics, energy, momentum, rotational dynamics, simple harmonic motion, gravitation, and others.  This course is designed primarily for physics majors, engineering students, and chemistry majors, and that is primarily who takes it.

The text for the course is Physics for Scientists and Engineers, 6th edition, by Serway and Jewett.  The homework questions and problems will be assigned from those listed at the end of the chapters.

The Final Exam will be on Thursday, May 5, from 8:00 - 10:00 am.  It will be a comprehensive exam.
